The German Design Council has nominated Küppersbusch for the 2017 German Brand Award. The prize awards successful brand management in Germany and will next year be awarded for the second time. The rating is carried out by an expert committee of specialists from industry and academia. The independent jury awards prizes in various categories such as “Corporate Brand of the Year”, “Brand Innovation of the Year”, “Product Brand of the Year” and “Newcomer Brand of the Year”. Andrej Kupitz, General Manager of the German Design Council explains: “The German Brand Award is the first competition that covers all disciplines of modern brand management and so contributes to the complexity of brand management and the vital role the brand plays in the success of the company. Its aim is to discover, present and reward pioneering brands and brand builders.”
Andrea Heiner-Kruckas, Head of Marketing and Product Management at Küppersbusch Hausgeräte GmbH, adds: “This award provides a great forum to excellent branding. We have been working for years to firmly re-establish Küppersbusch both in Germany and globally as a household appliance brand. Therefore, we are very pleased about the nomination and see this as confirmation of the work we’ve put into our present brand strategy. We now eagerly await the announcement of the winners in June this year.”
